Fall is all about drinking boozy apple cider and mulled wine; as the leaves change and the temperature drops, they’re guaranteed to warm your soul, sip by sip. So slip into a turtleneck and learn how to make an apple cider cocktail for your next brunch party. Our apple cider cocktail recipe fully embraces fall and celebrates the flavors of the season. This cider recipe combines sliced apples and pears with fresh apple cider, a cup of whiskey, and a bottle of ginger beer. If you’ve never mixed ginger beer with cider before, you’re in for a real treat: The (non-alcoholic) beer gives the cocktail a bubbly body and potent punch of ginger. Give the drink a little extra polish by coating the rims of the glasses with cinnamon sugar, and once you’ve finished your drink, don’t forget to munch on the leftover, whiskey-soaked fruit.
