Since no brunch is complete without booze, allow us to introduce this punch. There’s something about apple cider that just says “fall,” so we doubled up on the cider factor—both hard and bubbly—in this Friendsgiving cocktail. Plus, Aperol and Grand Marnier give the drink a pop of color and a deeper citrusy flavor. If you’d prefer not to drink, sub in 3 cups plain apple cider instead of the hard stuff and omit the liqueurs (add a splash of grenadine or pomegranate molasses instead).
Hard Apple Cider Punch
- Yields: about 2 quarts
- Hands-On Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
Stir cranberry juice, orange-flavored liqueur, Aperol, and lemon juice together in a punch bowl or large mixing bowl.
Pour hard cider and sparkling apple cider into the bowl. Chill the punch until you’re ready to serve.
Before serving, float sliced lemons, apples, and oranges in the bowl. If using, add a handful of frozen cranberries to each cup to act as ice.
