What’s the best thing since sliced bread other than the Toasteroid? Answer: These French toast roll-ups. White bread is topped with Nutella and a few slices of strawberries, rolled, and then fried. This kid-friendly breakfast is completely customizable, as the Nutella can be switched out for peanut butter and jelly, marshmallow fluff, or cream cheese. Really, any sort of spread or fruit that your heart desires will do just fine. The best part about eating these? Knives and forks are optional. (Pants, too, you breakfast freak!) Use your fingers to dip and dunk them right into maple syrup, or eat them as is.

Prep your berries. Wash and remove the stem and leaves from the top of the strawberries. Using a paring knife, cut each strawberry lengthwise, starting at the top of the berry where the stem was and working your way down to the bottom.
Flatten your bread. Cut the ends off all four sides of the bread slices. Lay each slice onto the surface and flatten with a rolling pin, or any other hard, circular object you have on hand.
Assemble the roll. Add two tablespoons of Nutella to one end of the bread and spread. Top with a few slices of strawberry, and roll.
Make a bath. Combine eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a bowl and whisk until well combined.
Fry the rolls. Dip each roll in the egg mixture and fry in a buttery pan until golden brown on all sides. Top with powdered sugar and serve.
